Hey Ethan,
I whole heartedly agree that Half Heaven Half Heartache was a good read and encouraging. I would probably more recommend it for older teens and adults. Bob is not drawing glory to sin or the tragedies of life. For those that do get the book, please!, don’t stop half way through and think that. It is just his truthful journey through being dead in trespasses and sin and now ALIVE by the Mercy and Grace of God. Thank You Jesus for what you have done and are doing. John 14:6.
Good review. Keep up the good work. Encourage and edify seeking to save the lost!!
Brian
Hey Ethan,
I am also reading this book, and have met judge Alexander. Both the book and meeting him where very encouraging, and his testimony is a good example of how God can change lives.

YIAM is a great tool for communicating the issues facing young Christians today. I am honored that the book of HIS mercy and grace at the cross, he just allowed me to write it, is having an impact on those who read it. I would pray that many would come to Jesus by reading how a despirate man found peace. However I also want to share that the best testimony is one where you get saved early, learn and live the Word of God and never experience the depths of depravity and sin I experienced and practiced. I am forgiven, washed in the blood of the lamb. However I also know and see the consequencies in pain and suffering I caused. So I also ferverently pray that the book leads young people to the realization that they never want to go down that painful path I chose, but rather have the greatest testimony there is. Choose victory in Christ early in your life and stay true to HIM, live for Him, plant his word in your hearts, profess it with your mouth and lead others away from the path of fools. That foolish path, living and loving sin rather than rightousness leads to distruction. Many of those who like me, chose a life of sin, died in their transgression and sealed their destiny in the torment of hell. The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to those saved by it, it is the power of God! Choose today who you will serve. In the love of Christ Jesus. judgea
