About

Youth in Action Mag was started in early May 2008 by Ethan Thompson.

(Ethan)

Our goal is to encourage our generation of youth to get in action and make a difference in the world for the glory of God. We will do this by interviewing people who currently are doing things for God, providing articles that encourage and exhort, and providing media (video, podcasts, images) that also encourages people to go out and make a difference.

  1. Hey Ethan,
Great concept for a website. I am proud of what God is doing in your life. Remember, you are always an ambassador of Christ. What a great and awesome privilege it is to serve the Saviour!!!
    Love,
    Dad

  2. Hey Ethan I can’t wait to see what God does with this website

  3. I like your enthusiasm, and I feel like you’ll do good things with your life. Having said that, unwavering adherance to Christianity will be one of the most oppressive obstacles to creativity in your chosen profession. You’ll see.

  4. Aloha Ethan,
I was on youtube and came across your videos on gospel magic. GREAT JOB! Like your Dad said, “What a great and awesome privilege it is to serve the Saviour!!! I pray that you continue to seek the Lord as to how to use your talents in presenting the Gospel through your magic. In Jeremiah 33:3 the Word says - Call to Me, and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’(NAS). You see, I started magic in the forth grade, I was consumed with magic. It was my god. Lord saved me at age 21. Put magic away because I thought it was Evil. Didn’t want to throw away anything because a lot of money was spent. Didn’t want to give away magic to anyone because I felt it was like giving drugs(Evil) to them. Got plugged into a Church that teaches the Word(Calvary Chapel of Honolulu). Sought the Lord and waited on Him as to what He wanted for my life. Two and a half years later while I was listening to a Bible message on the Radio(www.klight.org) the speaker was Raul Ries on his testimony about sharing his talent(Martial Arts) with the gospel in China. During that week, another message by my Pastor(Bill Stonebraker)on his testimony. He was a little boy passing by a group of people on the beach and was curious, he passed by and saw that the person that was speaking was holding and sharing this book called the wordless Bible(it’s a book with just a few colored pages). Black, for “we are all sinners”, Red, for “the Blood of Jesus that can cleanse us from all our sins” and White, that “He can cleanse us from all our sins and make us as White as Snow.” The Lord brought to mind the color changing records and it started from there. I know the Lord has allot in stored for you as you seek Him! Continue Loving Him with all your heart. He has a Great Plan For You!

    Blessing,
